Tara and Tom are a wonderful young couple who planned their Wedding from the UK.
Since they both had Irish parents Tara wanted to include some Irish hymns in the ceremony as well as some traditional and modern pieces.
Tara and her 6 bridesmaids walked up the aisle to ‘Canon in D’ by Pachelbel.
Bernadette from Wedding Flowers Galway did a fantastic job with the wedding flowers and was also on hand to help the Bridesmaids in to the church one at a time.
This was wonderful as it helped set the pace for every bridesmaid. There is nothing worse than bridesmaids and the bride all rushing up the aisle together. It makes such a difference for the photographer too as they can take quality pictures of each girl.
We included ‘A Mhuire Mhathair’ during the offertory which is a popular Irish hymn that I have sung since I was a child.
During the signing of the register Tara wanted ‘Wings’ by Birdy. This was the first time I had sung this for a wedding and it was such a good choice Tara!
The atmosphere and love felt in the church was incredible. The happy couple walked out to ‘Marry you’ by Bruno Mars and this was the highlight for me.
Thank you so much Tara and Tom for an absolutely wonderful day! I hope you enjoyed the ceremony music as much as I did!
