Kayla McDonagh Wedding Singer Ireland

Yvonne & MichaelDate: August 2nd 2014

Ceremony Venue: Rockwell College,Tipperary.

From the first time I spoke to Yvonne I could tell she was a very unique bride. She was very laid back throughout the entire wedding planning process and even more laid back on the day which was such an enjoyment to see. The Ceremony was held in Rockwell College in Tipperary.

Yvonne chose not to have any bridesmaids and so she and Michael walked up the aisle together to ‘She moved through the fair’.

Yvonne chose music that was personal and meaningful to her and Michael. The psalm was ‘Here I am lord’ and this was chosen because it was a psalm she remembers hearing and singing throughout the years since she was a child.

For the lighting of the unity candle Yvonne chose to have ‘May it be’ by Enya as she really loved the lyrics. “A promise lives within you now” . This was a beautiful part of the ceremony as these words really represented the candle lighting ceremony and the promise they had made to one another as a newly married couple.

‘Bridge over troubled water’ was a song Yvonnes late father sang therefore this was included during the signing of the register. This is a wonderful way to remember and feel the presence of loved ones during your wedding day.

As Michael is a Tipp man the recessional was an instrumental version of ‘Long way to Tipperary’ which made the bride chuckle as she and her Husband danced down the aisle as a newly married couple.

The music in this ceremony was a joy to perform because I could see that every song meant something to the bride and groom. There was an element of quirkiness and fun also.

Liseagh Photography did a fabulous job of capturing the day.

Thank you Yvonne and Michael for letting me be a part fo your very special and fun day!
